Andrea Trujillo Guajardo, originally from Antonito, CO, sits down with Voices of the Valley to talk about her work with the NGO, Conejos County Clean Water Association, which is now known as Conejos Clean Water. Andrea was the founding member of the organization. In her conversation with us she discuss the issues that spurred her to begin organizing her community including illegal dumping and the transportation of nuclear waste through the valley. Andrea currently lives in the Denver metro area, where she serves as President at Zero Waste Services and Rural Project Services, respectively.
